Hamlet . Act 4 Scene 2

. Act 4 Scene 2: Hamlet informed Rosencrantz and Guildenstern that he knows that they are his oncles informers.

Hamlet Act 4 Scene 1:

Act 4 Scene 1: The king came to the queen and heard about the interview between her and Hamlet. She told the king about Hamlet's madness and the murdering of Polonius

Act 3 Scene 4: Polonius was hiding behind a courtain in the queens room and listen to the conversation between Hamlet and his mother. Hamlet blamed her for her hasty wedding with his oncle. The prince regonized something behind the courtain and runed his sword through the tapestry. It turned out to be Polonius but Hamlet didn´t regret his action and continued his speech to the queen. He interupted himself when he saw his fathers ghost again. The queen wasn´t able to see the phantom and worried about her sons mental health.

Hamlet Act 3 Scene 3:

Act 3 Scene 3: Claudius knew that his secret was discovered by Hamlet. In a long monologue he admits his guild and also created a plan to get rid of Hamlet. The king was gonna send him to England with a letter for the british king with the order to murder his nephew. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are gonna be his escort to make sure that his plan is gonna work out.

Hamlet Act 3 Scene 2:

Act 3 Scene 2: Hamlet explained his plan to Horatio. He wanted his friend to watch the kings reaction during the play. If Claudius shows guilt in his face then it would be the final proof for his betray! During the play Claudius was feeling unconfortable and brought the show to a sudden end by leaving the hall.

Hamlet Act 3 Scene 1:

Act 3 Scene 1: Claudius and Polonius failed with their plan to spy on a meeting between Hamlet and Ophelia but the two men created a new plan. Polonius is gonna be placed behind a courtain while the queen interviewed Hamlet.

Hamlet Act 2 Scene 2

Act 2 Scene 2: King Claudius had send for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern which (are/were) old friends of Hamlet. The king ordered them to spy on Hamlet and find the reason for his weird behaviour. Polonius spoke to the king and narrated him that on his oppinion Hamlets love for Ophelia is the reason for his attentude. The two men planned to secretly watch a meeting between Hamlet and Ophelia. Hamlet met his two old friends and regonized them as kings informers. The prince made them belive that he´s mad. He also told them about his plan for a performance.

Hamlet Who is King Hamlet

King Hamlet, father of the prince, appeared as a Ghost in the fortress of Elsinore. He was full of anger against his brother and wanted revenge. He ordered Hamlet to revenge his death. He was called grateful and loyal by Hamlet. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern said to be old school friends of Hamlet. They had been summond to Elsinore by Claudius to spy on Hamlet. They both didn't approved of the kings wish but agreed to do it. By a confrontation with Hamlet they both were showing regret and a loyalty to Hamlet. The seemed to feel dishornourstly. They both got used as an instrument by king Claudius and died by their final order to escort Hamlet to England. Horatio is the only alley of Hamlet and faithfully loyal to him. He helps Hamlet with his plan against Claudius. He had the desire to follow the prince into death but Hamlet wanted him to tell the story. Horatio's character has the role of a chronic figure. It mean that he is the person who brings the story to the listening people.

Hamlet Who is Ophelia

Ophelia has the role of a lovely young girl and love of Hamlet. She is the daughter of the kings conseller Polonius and the sister of Laertes. After her fathers death caused by Hamlet she got mentally ill and died in a river. It's not known if it was an accident or if she killed herself.

Hamlet Who is Laertes

Laertes is the son of Polonius and older brother of Orphelia. He was very worried about his sister and told her to stay away from Hamlet. He was very upset and mad by anger. He wanted Hamlets death but during their battle he asked Hamlet for forgiveness but couldn't end the fight because of horner.

Hamlet Who is Polonius

Polonius is the kings counsellor and always present in the play. He was spying on people and always curious about the latest news in Elsinore. He used his influence to get his information for the king. He got killed by Hamlet while he was hiding behind a curtain.

Hamlet Who is Claudius

Claudius, the new king, and brother of the murdered king Hamlet. He is a good speaker and has strong character. He murdered his brother and took his place. Even he seem reached his goal he also shows regret. Claudius was worried about Hamlets revenge and wanted to get rid of him. He had used Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to spy on Hamlet and had send him to England. Claudius died by poison when he was forced to drink it by Hamlet.

Hamlet Act 1 Scene 5

: The ghost spoke to Hamlet and demanded revenge. Hamlet's father told his son he got betrayed by his queen and murdered by his brother. The prince swore him revenge and had set it as a purpose for his life.

Hamlet Act 2 Scene 1

. .Act 2 Scene 1: Ophelia came to her father and informed him about Hamlet's strange behaviour. Polonius decided that Hamlet acted mad because of his love to Ophelia and him refusing to not seeing her.

Hamlet Who is Horatio

Hamlets closest friend and only supporter is Horatio. He is the one who stays on Hamlets side and even wanted to follow him into death. Hamlets school friends Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are two characters which were ordered by the king to spy on Hamlet. They weren't pleased to do it but had to agree.
Fortinbras is also a opponent of the main character Hamlet. He is the new king of Norway and a enemy for Denmark. He was always present by the court because everyone worried a war with Norway. At the end of the play he showed sympathy for Hamlet and honored him.

Hamlet WHO is Hamlet

Shakespeare's play of Hamlet is taken place in the fortress of Elsinore in the old Denmark. Prince Hamlet is the main character and his figure is always in competitor against his uncle Claudius who's the murder of his father king Hamlet who returned as a ghost. Claudius had taken the throne of Hamlets father and married Hamlets mother Gertrude. She keeps a deep love for her son Hamlet but don't understood his madness. Polonius, the kings counsellor, is a loyal servant of king Claudius and support his actions against Hamlet. Polonius is also the father of Laertes and Ophelia. Laertes is gonna be Hamlets opponent in the final battle. After Hamlet has killed his father and made his sister become mad, Laertes got crazy by anger against the prince. He wanted Hamlets death and made plans together with the king. His sister Ophelia was in love with Hamlet until she heard that he had killed her father.

Hamlet Who ist Fortinbras

Fortinbras is the young king of Norway and son of the previous Norwegian king who was killed by Hamlet's father. His character is mental always present in this play and presents an enemy with fear. He appeared only two times in person. First time when he crossed Denkmark with his army to reach Poland for a war, and the second time when he returned from it. Fortinbras found the tragic scene of the final battle between Hamlet and Laertes. His character is discribed as physically active, brave and heard strong. A interesting fact is that he is in the same situation of Hamlet.

Hamlet Act 1 Scene 3

Act 1 Scene 3: The counseller's son Laertes was preparing his journey back to France. His sister Ophelia and his father Polonius were with him. Laertes was worried about his sister and warned her to be careful with her realtionship to Hamlet. So did her father. They told Ophelia to protect her good name and ordered her to end the friendship to Hamlet

Hamlet Act 1 Scene 2:

Act 1 Scene 2: Claudius, the new king of Denmark, gave a speech to his council. His nephew Hamlet, the prince of Denmark, joined the ceremony too. The king presented a well prepared speech about his new title as a king, about the tragic death of his brother, the previous king, and about his marriage with the queen. He also mentioned the conflict with the king of Norway which he expected to be over soon. Laertes, the son of the counsellor Polonius, asked Claudius for permission to return to his university in France. The king allowed him to leave Denmark but refused Hamlet's request to leave as well. Horatio, a good friend of Hamlet, reported about his experience of the previous night. Hamlet believed him that the ghost was his fathers appearing and didn´t hesitate to look for him.
